Immunodeficiency

Immunodeficiency diseases involve a deficiency of B cells (antibody), T cells (cellular), or a combination of both, and can be either congenital or acquired. Congenital forms of immunodeficiency are rare, and are characterized by a susceptibility to infections and chronic diseases such as pneumonia, giardia, candidiasis and chronic rhinitis.
