Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a form of natural medicine that involves the manipulation of muscle and other connective tissues such as tendons, ligaments and bone to promote relaxation, alleviate discomfort and enhance function. The word massage is of French origin, derived from the Latin term ‘massa’ meaning ‘dough’, in the sense that massaging the body is similar to kneading dough.
